A plain-language overview of how ClipUp is designed to handle temporary clips.

Current frontend phase

ClipUp does not currently transmit or store selected clips. File selection and video previews happen locally in your browser. The production storage and database services will be documented here before public launch.

Temporary uploads

When uploads are connected, the product is intended to retain clips and the minimum metadata needed to serve them for three days, then permanently remove both. This page will be updated with the final service providers and processing details.

Local browser data

The current interface does not require an account and does not place advertising or tracking cookies. Standard hosting infrastructure may process basic request information needed to deliver the website.
